Weddings from Italy

A-Shape

A-Line by Sahar Alaufi

The design process for these gowns often begins with bespoke consultations, Sahar Alaufi meets with clients to discuss their vision. A sketch is created, followed by the selection of materials, ensuring each dress is unique. Italian or Omani workshops then craft the gowns with an emphasis on precise tailoring and hand-finished touches, embodying both modern design aesthetics and classic elegance

When worn, an A-line wedding gown offers both structure and fluidity. The fitted bodice, (eg. a long sleeve aline wedding dress)  enhances the bride’s figure while the skirt, which flares out in a soft "A" shape, offers comfort and ease of movement, making it suitable for a variety of body types. The silhouette is known for its versatility, working well in both simple, minimalist designs or more elaborate, embellished gowns.

These gowns are often worn for traditional church weddings, outdoor ceremonies, or even destination weddings, reflecting the timeless elegance Italian couture and Omani embroidment are famous for.
